Ive emailed a few mags to try and raise the Rs profile as i think we should all be doing anything we can in increase awareness of these unknown cars. Anyway ive just got a reply so i will post it below. NOW dont go jumping in trying to get your car used instead of mine ya buggers remember im the one doing the leg work ......

Hi Darren, you're very lucky - I've always had a massive soft spot for the
Pulsar. Firstly, what a cracking name, secondly, what a cracking car. They
just got it right. To be honest, we've struggled to get these in the mag
as most of them are so highly modified so it's great to see one on its
original wheels. What we're doing is compiling a list of people with
interesting cars who'd like to be featured in the mag. The aim is when we
have a few (perhaps of a similar era or ilk) we can start to pair them
together and begin to formulate some feature ideas. Until then though we
can get your car into the Your Cars section so it will get a run out on
the pages of PC straight away.

It would be interesting to hear your ideas of what cars your Pulsar could
be pitched against in a group test - it's a bit smaller than Lancers and
Imprezas - it would be good to see it against a Seat Ibiza Bimotor for
exampleÅ

Great to hear from you,
With kind regards,

Neil

Ye that would be interesting. The new insomnia pulsar is thought to be around 245bhp and then there may be a faster one at around 275bhp but I'm sure they will be a heavier than the old one.
