right if it started for a few secs then died chances are that you do have a spark
you need to remove plugs and put them in leads then try cranking it and hold the plug so the side is ground to earth, if you then get someone to crank the engine over you can watch to see if the spark is jumping.
if so then remove the fuel pipe to fuel rail and see if fuel is spurting out whilst you crank engine but make sure you hold a bowl or container so fuel does not go everywhere
if you have both fuel and a spark then it could just be dampness in dizzy cap ect so dry them all out and water seal them with wd40 or similar
also when you put the plugs back in heat them up over a cooker hob or blowtorch because they may be flooded then it will start up much easier
