Gonna start buying now for when I'm ready lift engine out etc ..
Engine will be run on fuchs titan 10w 50
Whats best oil for rest.?
My mate put some special oil in his integra type r turbo gearbox .
Was meant to help reduce shock or summit . Was running 580bhp and spent it's life on the drag strip and never had a problem.

So
Gearbox?
Transfer?

Has anyone tried that waterless coolant?

Might aswell change rear diff oil but with what?

Ajay.

Redline mt90 is good its a gl4 oil for our boxes and defo more smoother gearing a tad expensive though,
Diffs I would use fuchs 75/90 as there both gl4/5 rated oils

Like anything rob mate ther are good and bad points but i think the general jist was use a mix of deionised water water and antifreeze as it has certain propertys as dose the deionised water to clean and stop build up. But using full deionised water is no good as it needs some iron in water, without it can react with block in a bad way trying to get the missing mineral into it ie eating the water ways/block . And that waterless only lasts so long and everylast bit of water needs to be out the rad block etc which is hard to do unless its been rebuilt.the price of it should you need to flush or drop the system and the fact the engine aint ran on it from new or rebiuild means its a expense for no gain. Its late but it was along those lines mate

Its availible alot now john google it or its on e bay. Alot of clasic car owners seem to use it. Just a premixed coolant. ( just like pure antifreeze) but made for purpose

Can't boil a car with it in ..

Put it in engine run up to temp and you can release pressure cap and still keep your arm

waterless coolant has no huge benefit for most if cooling system working fine.
also something else to tell the insurance company about as most of the waterless coolants are flammable.
