Tax exempt

My old mans just been telling me as of April next year all cars and bikes made before 1974 will be tax and mot exempt , so not long now guys as it's going to be a rolling 40 year thing were as before it was pre 1972/73 and pre 1960 for mot. I said I bet it's a April fool job but apparently not as he read it in classic bike mart

Its going to be a while till it hits 1990 though ????
