best all time invention

i was thinking the other day after seeing a programme on tv of the all time best invention
think the silicone chip won the award in the finish.
ahead of things like
pc
mobile phone
satellite
light bulb
the wheel
automobile
aeroplane
boat/ship
mri machine

but one thing never even got mentioned which is simplicity in itself but without it many things would never have been built

can you guess what it is???

Electricity?

nope

Screw?
Nut and bolt?
Metal?
Welder?

yep a simple nut n bolt lol

gotta be one of the all time best inventions as you wouldnt be able to build hardly anything without it

I would of said nut n bolt, petrol, breasts, and the combustion engine

Well I think | can trump that.Lots of jobs would get started with all of those things listed above, but they wouldn't get finished without a good old cup of tea.Or 3.
