It would appear that my tacho is suffering from crazy needle syndrome.
Normally I would just change the whole dial unit for one of my spares but these are uk dials (with the clock!) and I would like to keep them.
So has anyone changed the tacho motor and have any tips for doing so? I would like to avoid breaking them. Any other areas to check that might be causing the problem? They worked fine in my last car I had them in but that was 5 years ago..
