This is my old sunny gti that i took to the ring in 2008
Did the ring in under 10mins
Timer started at the barrier and finished when i came into the car park .
Quite respectible i think

Was a great little car
However has a few rust issues

I sold it to a bloke from the modifiers site who loved it and fitted the sr20det to it .
Looks like it's not been loved since he sold it tho

Hold on that grey one. I have had it for the past 5 years, Oct 2009.
Did someone called Christopher P own it? He lived in Darlington. I first bought it in Aug 2008, then I sold it to an Asian lad who lived in Worcester in Nov 2008, and then bought it back again about Oct 2009.

Now has an SR20VE conversion, and in the process of being turbocharged. Slow progress though.
So it's been ragged on the ring hah, it was sold back to me as never ragged or raced lol.
I certainly have taken it through its paces, and its loved it.

Just read the thread again, maybe your mate was Chris H from St Helen's, a guy called Abs bought it off him and sold it to me.
You must have gone to the ring before i got it in aug summer 2008.
