Ive got blueprint on mine at the min & not had any issues, as Nissan was mega expensive

Also got a set of the blue NGK leads as spares, are they any good?

blueprint are not exactly a problem but quality of leads is not comparable to most other parts in their range.
Had issues on a civic & supra with blueprint leads falling to bits & price is not super cheap.

Doesnt say genuine? "quality parts" suggest not.

I was looking at some on EBay which claim to be uprated stainless kevlar cores so not the same at the ones in Mr B's handy link.

Might give the matt Lewis ones a go,

Unknown how old or quality of leads so worth doing anyway.

Why do they always make them red or blue lol. Whats wrong with black?

I hate blue samco, makes me puke when see it :-)
matt lewis sounds ok for price, get thermal give a quick review on fit & perceived quality ...

Just off the phone to performance leads, unfortunately they are short on parts to make up leads but are expecting them this week, they are approx £53 delivered, have ordered a set of the matt lewis ones to try.

Also ordered a dizzy cap, rotor arm and coil...it never ends.

those MLM leads seem good price, could you do a mini review/comments as could be a good one for other users at that price & easy online availability .

Yep no problem, not expecting much for £28 delivered but will at least do for fault finding hopefully. Thermal seems to have got on ok with them.

You never know, would imagine will be better constructed than like of the blueprint sets that around the low £20 range.
Actual manufacture cost is low so no need be stupid money, you don't get anything that special when pay £80+ from likes of magnacor really .

Leads arrived today, quality seems fine to me, no alarm bells ringing. contacts seem to stick out the covers a bit more than normal, metal ends instead of the usual plastic with metal tabs, not sure which is better.

I might fit them tonight before work see if they help and can then comment on fit, excellent service from matt lewis racing.

Don't know why the 2 long leads have that cable tidy stuff on them, might bin it, I do like that it includes one of the little tidy clips.

Few pics.

Good delivery service.
If they work well with our ignition & quite robust so don't fall to bit in few months when pulled off plugs they will be good buy for the price.
Clip tidy included is good.
I use the cable sheath on some cars, subaru being main one as leads are long & keeps them more rigid so not so fatigued plus reduces abrasion & heat damage problems, not really a must on the R.
Hope lengths are sensible & all plugs fit snug. think I will be book marking MLM ...
PS. don't worry if late for work, I write you a note :-)

Popped them on tonight, does seem to have cured my misfire but more testing required as was intermittent.

Fit was good, leads a tad longer than need to be but thats ok, would also be nice if boots were a bit longer but not a deal breaker, good solid click into place.

Overall not bad for the price, would be interested to compare to the fastlane leads.

What I liked most about the fastlane ones was boots for dizzy cap nice & thick & firm & lead & clip all secure & well formed together, same plug end they all seem well put together,  used them mainly on subarus and never had any problems from them even after few years in service. do tend be little longer than oem too but they will do one offs to very specific length if you request it, they made a set up  for a mazda b6t & I stated lengths & that exactly what I got.
These MLM one seem good option for cost & from your comments better than average 5hit you get through most factors etc.
fastlane is almost twice the price though ! last set I had was £46 for sr20, 4 lead subaru set was £39 & current prices seem gone up a bit.

The real question is though are they twice the quality, if I get a year out of these ill be happy. Very Happy
