Previous couple pulsar's

Thought seeing as I'm a new member on her but long time playing around in gtir's I'd put a post up with couple snaps of them,
1st time round I bought a crashed one thought I'd repair it but then decided to buy a non runner and have the engine and box from the crashed  one put in the non runner did this and bobby had the crashed and dead engine off me,
Back in 2006 ,
Ran the car for few months loved it then sold it for £1950
Was a mint body not a patch if rust
Will dig the photos out ran 306.bhp at 1.1bar on standard turbo, tmic and maff
Was pleased how she pulled

Then moved onto other things
Then bought this a really clean 90% stock grey one
Ran this for around but engine let go and at the time funds wasn't available to repair it so another solid one sold from me




Then few months later bought this, was around 2009 still fair few of them around to be fair
Had couple items but thought I'd try the stock look so went to standard for a while





But then the turbo went and got bored so started to mods it in the end finished up like this!







In the end broke it up and sold the parts to make my money back

So after a 4year gap and many jap crap lol after I've decided to return to the pulsar scene seems fair bit has changed , new forum, modifiers seems dead, cars are getting rare, viewed two in the past two months and where poor repaired (bodge up) ones and they was asking top doller for them so thought I'd try bob and blow me down he has two for grabs ! So shot over and deal done awaiting collection later this week!

Wg all come back. Learnt my lesson , I'm not selling mine , even if I get bored of it. It will sit and wait for my inevitable return !!! This happens to so many owners and I think if you let go now in another 5 yrs you'll struggle to get a good one at a reasonable price

Thought id share from the OC on here too my current R,
Black R is gone now,
Was trailing threw the Ads, and this grey R comes up, thought mmm only 25miles away, lets go have a look,
bought it, had it two hours then realized hang on the plate looks similar blow me down its the grey one from 2009 lol.
bought it of the guy who id sold it to but he was'nt around and his brother did the sale with me, lol i know you think id pick up on this but ive had this pulsar ive gone threw 3pulsars, 3 Sti's,
1 evo 8, skyline so i tend to forget lol
had a decent spec on here now, new rebuilt lump,
hispec brakes, forge fmic and other bits, so ive been building her up over past two months,

Little update,
Meshed the front bumper,
Bought brand new tow eye cover from nissan,




I had seen the rear arch had couple small bubbles, looked like air bubbles in the paint, was tiny bit of rust, so thought time for some paint work to be done, Having both sides done and the roof, grill,tow eye etc,
not the bumper as still want to replace this for a uncut version, bonnet as that would be a crime lol, nor the boot and spoiler as carbon ones to replace them!
Ordered from Nissan new headlight covers but on back order by a week most likley two tho,
still got loads of bits under my desk
Popped down at lunch to see the progress.

Car looks lovely think I recognise this from around East Sussex.

How much for this paint job mate?

Started of at £700 but having some more bits done

should of removed the trim your self bloody hate places that leave all the trim etc on when painting, having some paint done to an alfa atm, so i went in and undid the 3 8mm bolts to remove the mirrors my self!

Funny you say that I told them to remove them, and the mirrors ,

that front bit comes off with 2 bolts too

That's not masked up for painting, just rubbing down, bumpers are off,

i mean to take it off and paint it otherwise the gap will fill with paint
