Speedo cable?? Delimiter questions

my speedos stopped working.. Because I have been messing around underneath my car reckon I have knlocked the cable

I could only find this hanging...
Is this it why does it look broken?
Where does it go?
Something missing?

While I am sorting this issue out. How do I convert to mph

Is the missing bit still in the Gearbox??
Should have a plastic gear wheel on the end....

It's located infront of the 'bastard' bolts on the gearbox.
If you put your hand down under the plenum where the gearbox meets the transferbox it's there.
It actually bolts into the transferbox.

Why does mine not look like that.

How many bastard bolts does this car have lol. So cramped. I reckon I hit it when trying to remove the Y bracket

The one I showed you isn't a Gtir one but it's an sr20 one so is very close.
Yours is dark grey from all the shit over the years lol
If you removed all of it, it will look very much like the one I posted up

basically what you've done is pull the outer casing and connections off

your gonna have fun getting the rest of it out as some of them are in there very tight even by grabbing hold of the top bit with the 10mm securing nut out they can be a real bitch
