Right feel like am really getting somewhere with my car now Smile boost leak sorted and det sensor changed.

Next job to tackle is the idle speed.

The result I was getting before sensor change( det)

Cold....1500rpm
Slightly warm ....1000rpm
Up to temperature. 1500rpm

And now

1500
1000
1250

I'm not sure if this is normal? I get the feeling the last figure should be under thousand?

I have read the sticky idle speed but it was not very useful because I don't know any of them adjustment are.

So where do i start?

Just reading the sticky on idle speed problems. Kind of makes sense a bit now. It seems like all the components are on the IAA UNIT.

Slightly confused,

IAS VALVE
AAC VALE
FICD
IAR
TPS
Vacuum ports rubber boots where the hell are they? Sad

says that these may cause the problem. How do I check or adjust these things
If they are in the right parameters that they are supposed to be in.

And if I adjust one, will it correct the idle speed and cover up original issue? If That makes sense

By the way I have a top mount which makes it really difficult to see things..

The vacum ports are the ones on the throtle bodies at the bottom of each one.... they are not adjustable iirc ...

I thought the vacuum ports were there to be used to measure vacuum when adjusting the throttle bodies individually via the screws just above the vacuum ports, but you shouldn't touch the screws unless you know what your doing because I have heard they can be a nightmare to set up once you start messing with them so best not to touch those screws!

I had one of the vacuum port plugs blow off once and it made the car idle rough and run super lean.

I don't know if these picture will be any use to you mate but here is a picture of the throttle bodie vacuum ports and the adjustment screws for the throttle bodies.
The screws usually have a rubber cap covering them and the vacuum ports are supposed capped of with rubber bungs, they are not supposed to be open like on the pic
