Saturday is coming

God it seems weve been waiting ages but im so excited its the RR this weekend

Yes, I totally forgot it was a sat too. I am busy this Easter weekend. But saying that, my car has not moved since Jan, time bloody flies, I have just been so busy.

I am tempted just to patch the car up just to meet a few of you at South Mimms, then head back home   

I am also looking forward to and meeting people, i live 40 mins away and am worried about the drive there haha let alone many other people driving from all over haha

I'm terified of the journey there and back, I've even bought breakdown cover just incase I've got no reason to expect anything going wrong but better to be safe than sorry.

Should be a really good day. Looks like the weather will be nice too

im doing a service on clares car on Friday so its all ready for Saturday
its never been touched since we bolted it together so is due a bit of tlc

I was wondering if I should change my oil but I've only done about 700 miles on the oil that's in it at the mo at its got that expensive millers nanodrive stuff in it. I've go another tub and a filter ready for my next change but I think I should get some more miles out of what in it first

I'm in the same boat re the oil .

I changed mine in aug 2013 but it's only done 800 miles since then .
It's parked in a garage all day and night unless it's being used.
Not like the temps are changing as it's had a heater under her
So cant immagine the oil will need doing

My car is sat in a unheated garage so has been through all weather lol and I did my oil probably about August time aswell, I know changing it can only be a good thing but if I can get away with leaving a bit longer then I wouldn't mind waiting because at just over £60 a pop that oil is not exactly cheap!

Im using that nano stuff as well, only done about 1000miles since I put it in 6 months ago, I wouldn't worry about changing it.

It seams criminal to dump it if it's still got plenty of life left in it, I think I'll get a few more miles out of it yet

yeah the oil will be fine

if you are doing a trackday or something like that then I always drop the oil after every event as you get fuel mixed in with it which wont do the engine much good.

im only doing clares as its done around 8k since the last oil change and all around town driving so its well overdue
