Show Season

I am really chuffed!   

I have been contacted by Classic Ford Magazine to put my MK1 Escort on their stand at the Classic Ford Show at Santa Pod in June! This will be my 5th year I have been on the stand, really looking forward to it, does anyone else on here go to that show?

Ah thanks, I must admit since getting the Pulsar back the MK1 has been neglected, hardly driven it!! That car has plenty of polish on it!! I am hoping to run it and beat my PB 

I feel sorry for rich, it must be a nightmare for him with all your cars.
Good on you though for getting on stand again, certainly is a great looking car

Yeah I do too!! I am very High Maintenance with my cars!! The worst thing is around March/April there are 4 of ours due for MOT! Pulsar has just been done, so that's the main thing!

I have never been to a classic ford day at the pod, I've been to quite a few jap days and to be honest it's one of those same shit different day things with them
What are the classic ford days, weekends like?
I bet your car gets a lot of attention!

There are lots of Ford days, to be honest they are getting much of the same thing, but its nice to meet up with friends and talk cars!   With the Ford scene and through my club Old Skool Ford they organise a lot of meetings, its a shame as I will miss the meet at Boxhill that's on Saturday, my Ford friends were not impressed I am going out with the other club! You should go to Classic Ford Show, its a really good show, the standard nowadays puts me to shame!

Yeah it does get a lot of attention, mainly being as its so loud!  

Thanks Tucker, yeah quite a bit, it was in primer when I bought it, so had a full respray etc, mainly spent money on the engine, its got a 1700 crossflow built by Ron Harris, its got twin 45's, LSD, stainless manifold and system made to the car and lots more stuff!! I ask for car bits for Christmas and Birthdays

Thanks Fred, I love Rich's Anglia too! He has had that for 16 years now! Its got a 2.1 Pinto with twin 48's, sounds very angry!

U done really well! nice colour.. That's had a few quid spent on it!
     Been to box hill a few times for bike meets nice place..
