and its finally sorted

well spend another day working on the wiring and have now sorted it, killed the shorted wire completly and replaced it with a length on new 10A wire from fuse box to indicator stalk and all seems good in the electrical world once more (for the time being anywho)

your not the only one whos had electrical troubles rich, ive been boogering about with my uk sunny all day as the immobilizer shut the car down....no power to the fuel pump or the starter, its taken me most of the day to sort that hideous mess out and ended up rerunning another wire to the fuel pump in the finish but its all going now and hopefully shouldnt break down again.

glad youve sorted your mess out, electrical gremlins are the worst things to deal with on old cars for sure

yeah most bits are done like brakes etc but still have a few small jobs to do which il no doubt do on thursday
