yes as above but they do come indifferent sizes dependant upon engine size.

as far as I can make out it just makes a turbulent vortex : /
but theres a guy on gtr oc has fitted some to his gtr whos raving about them and others haven't dismissed them as piles of pooh which was reason for post on here as ive never heard of one before scratch

LOL what a load of balls Laughing

Surbo dudes state as 100% fact wrote:by mathematical derivation on Wikipedia, the amount of fuel injected at any moment is proportional to number of cylinders x rpm x accelerator pressure
First, never let the mathematics on Wikipedia be your only source for information…………………

Second (if you've read the information in the ECU section on how the GTiR ECU works), you'll realise that for our cars the amount of fuel is NOT proportional to the "accelerator pressure", but instead the airflow through the MAF. Therefore, even if (by some sort of magic) the surbo managed to increase the airflow, the ECU would see this (via the MAF) and inject more fuel anyway, therefore not saving you ANY fuel. In fact, the blips of pressurised air may cause your car to waste more fuel that it normally does…………

Last, if the surbo worked as per the quote above, then it would make your car run very lean, potentially damaging the engine. If there is a huge pressurised airflow through the engine, but the car is only injecting half the fuel, then your A/F ratio will be very lean, maybe even leading to death.

I like reading about these things Laughing

LOL I know Bob. I don't know if people get suckered in by the "science", but some people genuinely do swear by things like this (including the fuel magnet thingy LOL). A prime example is the electric turbochargers (obviously very different to the surbo suckers!!! Laughing ), which have been well busted by the Mighty Car Mods:

At least I know your GTR is safe from the surbo………….. Until maybe they bring out an Electric Surbo-supercharger with NOS Razz

I like the write up that it helps drivers combat fatigue  due to less pushing on the throttle Razz
