Euro Dub Look / Visual Changes.....

Me and a mate are hoping to have my car drivable in the near future (clutch doesn't seem to engage properly - and if we can't sort it then it'll visit Bob!) but I digress.

We were discussing what sort of route the car should take looks and mechanically wise and we discussed various visual improvements/routes including wrapping, respray etc etc but one thing we were unsure on was whether a Pulsar would suit the Euro Dub look. Now I know visual changes are personal, and I am sure this will open a debate but I was wondering what people thought of the a pulsar with a Euro Dub look, would it work?

Also I'd like to see what routes people took and why as my mate asked me if there was a specific visual trend amongst pulsar, and I think its to keep the look fairly standard apart from maybe the wheels, but I could be wrong. So discuss....

could look ok i was interested in a set of borbet wheels but i think people take that look too far with mega camber and overly streched tyres to make the car look broken

i do like a chunky wheel i think they look great

I was having a discussion with my mate about the euro dub look the other day. We were joking about dubbing the pulsar and putting pictures up on the forum just to see everybody's reaction lol.

Personally I don't understand it, as far as I can tell its all about having your car practically sitting on the ground with rediculas camber so the car dosent ride or handle properly, stupid sticky up tail pipes and sticker bombed in places with every sticker the imagination can come up with, oh and a gear selector that's about as high as your head lol

As you can tell I'm not a fan of the dubbed look but on the other hand I think I would cause a stir in the dubbing world to see a dubbed pulsar rolling up to a show and if it's done tastefully might actually look ok. I think it would be cool to see the pulsar getting some recognition in an alternative car scene. I'm open minded and dont like to hate on anybody's things but for me personally dubbed is a big NO NO  

Euro look is more French/VW scene Even Hondas are at it now   & to be honest I don't get it... As bling wheels & silly offset & camber & lowerd/stanced or even worse sat on air bags & smothed bumpers etc   isn't tuning/modding a car IMO!

And doing it to a pulsar would be criminal as its a fast performance car & wasn't designed for that euro look, Sorry if I come across abit harsh lol, but I realy have got a hate towards the EURO scene/look as like I say its not tuning/modding in my eyes & just don't understand it  

But each to there own as it is your car at the end of the day & if everyone was the same the world would be a boring place ;)lol

depends what you want a car for I guess : /
if you want to be able to drive it and want it to handle then that's deffo the wrong thing to do to what is primarily a performance car

I honestly think it looks naff and totally ridiculous and if anything bloody dangerous to drive too.

The euro dub look is something I debated for a while as I'm in to my euro cars as well as my pulsar. You have to be careful I've seen a couple of pulsars on banded steelies I quite liked it many didn't. Colour wise yes the euro scene look does look good ie pastel colours old vintage colours. Stretched tyres not so good on pulsars handling is a big aspect of the pulsar and stretched tyres and overly wide wheels not a good combo with these cars.

Try it mate there are no rules when modding cars each to there own but be careful dont go to euro and too low etc. at the end of the day these are rally cars not mk1 golfs that dont go particularly fast but still look cool

I think it personal choice ...although i have to agree with the design of a pulsar its just not made to sit ultra low especially with the sump and exhaust .

There was a bloke on the oc had one on banded steel wheels and low ill try and find it

I love the euro look, but pulsar is definately a rally car...I agree with concrete on this point.
Sascha in here who lives in germany put some keskin with deep dish on it...looks good!

Thats it fred i was wondering who on here it was that id seen with  deep dish alloys ....

im sure someone tried borbet deep dish on a pulsar aswell and it looked good

to get the euro look you really need the stetch tyres or very low profile tyres, which to me would not work well on a pulsar as you see with the ats cups they have a big profile on them look nice though. there are a couple of wheels ive thought of in the dub world im thinking of trying im just gonn ahave a search now see if they have been on a pulsar before

I thought about getting a set of those cups for mine, Once it's finished I think more about it as I quite like the standard 14" wheels as well.

Well it's got people talking. Yeah me and my mate thought it would look good if done well and not ridiculous, like some cars.
But I am planning on some rally wheels and potentially a stealth type look to keep the pulsar looking really mean.

I definitely would like to see one photoshopped to get an idea, I found some on google but the pics weren't brilliant.
