You should be able to pick up some RC 1000cc , they were popular with the evo boys ,At around £200 .
They would be my choice , 700cc should so fine but its just finding them etc.
What fuel set up have you got?

We had a single walbro struggle at 450 , I would change to a brand new walbro in tank and a Bosch 044 in line we ran this set up in a 500 plus evo with no fuel issues .

I have seen 500 from a walbro but have also heard a lot fail at higher outputs ( over 400).

Our walbro was fine on the dyno but struggled sometimes on hard runs ( ecu was plugged into laptop logging data) running lean in spots .
We also had a direct power feed to the battery to give constant voltage .

This is what makes pulsars a love hate relationship you just never know weather your cars set up will be fine etc or cause you grief seems like one pulsar will work well with standard fuelling and make big bhp whilst another will crash and burn haha wouldn't have it any other way

Always risks in modified cars , I learnt the hard way .

If you make sure you have headroom on everything , you minimize risks !
