My Sleeper

Hi All, so had a red sunny with all the bells etc. as a daily good few years back, then went off to sample evo6, R32gtr,MK2 escort and a few other japers. But never found anything better so this is my attempt at a low key GtiR now that I'm bit older. Standard enough car bar, warlbro pump, nismo ecu and whats in pics etc. It's a rust free 50k miles sweety I found a couple of years ago and sleepered since keeping all standard parts, not to everyones taste but I love it and it allows me to own and drive a GTiR with no hassle from idiots at lights and the blue boys.

Just to add I went down to my buddy today who's building 2 6r4's, one for comp and the other a road car this is his set up.

welcome onto the site mate, must say i really like what you have done with the car. What is the canister behind the air filter on the passenger side?

also are they steelies or ats cups?

Cup's painted grey, The canister is my screen washer bottle (it's an empty extinguisher) .

liking the ats cups mate, popular choice in the vw world never seen them on an R before though. also what is that cannister as already mentioned and whats the mesh thing on top of the manifold

I was trying to work out what was on top of the manifold aswell.

Sorry for slow come back I've been away but I wrapped my mani then made a heat shield and painted it black, tryin to keep an oem look. the Canister is my washer bottle as I'm sure lots of you have found out that the pumps are not really strong enough to pump from the boot when relocating the bottle.

Do you know what that strut brace is buddy? i think mine is exactly the same but its got a nismo sticker on it and im confused if its real or just a sticker that has been put on there. thanks!

it's the Nismo one. Nismo is stamped on each part wich are bolts on the struts

i think that its the same strut, the mounts look the same and the shape too.
