Well after 10 months living in our new house we have had our cars keyed twice ..

First time was 4 months ago they did both cars that park on the road . ( cabby and a courtesy car we had )

Well last night they did it again to the 2 cars that were on the road ..

It's not a busy estate we live on and my 2 cars are the only ones on the road .

Evo lives in the garage , pulsar and my mondeo work car live on the drive ,
and SWMBO'S cabby and the new audi live on the road
Luckily the audi's scratches should polish out

I am fuming , so have decided to purchase some cctv ,

have seen this on ebay

Any ideas gents other than sleeping in the cars

People like this are cnuts, I don't get people that do this. The only time I understand things like this is when people deliberately park like assholes and people scratch their cars as punishment. Hope you catch them!

Looks a good value system to me, particularly as it includes the hard disc.
I set up a system like this a few years ago but the cameras didn't have good enough resolution after dark to really see who the people are. If they are local vandals and you're likely to recognise them then it will be fine, if not you may have to get better cameras.
But having said that, technology has moved on a lot in the last few years so the "cheap" cameras could be OK.

F*cking jealous...my girlfriend's red fire clio had been keyed in the last, only because it was red, on the road, and not in her county...but she was well parked.

Is it a recording camera system you want to buy?

I had this happen to me the other day, scratched on one side so I checked the car over. Next day got up been done agin on opposite side. I am still fuming now I have an idea who it's is though. As I don't usually park my daily in this spot but I did and left it for a few days this spot is where a bloke likes to park. So after the second time I moved the car back to my mums house came back 20 mins later guess who's car was in the space hmmmmmmmmm

If u truly believe it was him I'd return the favour.
A few weeks ago my mum was out walking the dog at night and some dick had blocked the pavement all week long so on the fifth night she smeared dog crap along the side of his car.  He hasn't parked there since Very Happy

To be honest id rather somebody come up to my face if they have a problem rather than do anything to any of my cars its a fooking cowardly way of doing it . If you live in a culdesac then its gotta be somebody there surely ?

Not a culdesac pal..
Little village off a main road with one main road with lots of little roads off it...
No shops , no pubs , no post office , only people walking are people walking there dogs or children playing out

Well my cctv system turned up last tuesday and i had it fitted by wednesday evening .

Well all i can say is the police are coming round later ,
I caught a kid sat on my mondeo bonnet with his feet on the bonnet of my cabby on sunday evening ,
I had just glimpsed at the screen while walking through the house .
I went outside and went FOOKING MENTAL , Little bastard said he was " having a rest "
After watching the cctv back it looks like he was trying to show off to his mates because he sat down and gave them all the thumbs up .

All i can say is after me shouting for 5 mins calling them allsorts they aint been back .

I did however get his full name and adddress
