So I see on the parts forum there maybe a yearly meet for the members of the forum which is excellant. I just have an idea for the mods which may sound crazy and not to everyones taste, but I recently turned one of our small fields into a caravan and camping site, I was thinking instead of meeting up at a show which you can still do throughout the year how about some of you meet up here, stop a couple of nights (bank holiday week) and we have a nice drive out into wales. (I know some excellant roads and see the sites which some people may not of seen.) Im only just over an hour from the welsh coast. have a think about it Very Happy

It's a great idea! And exactly what I have been thinking about!!!
I've recently joined a nova forum and they do this every year and it looks like fun!
It's worth trying! Smile

yep in full agreement with that and would be a good venue for one year!
but big but

the trouble with these cars is that there simply are not enough owners to have more than 1 big meet a year (give people choices and they cant decide) which is why its best to have just the one big meet which everyone has all year to plan and one big thing to look forward to which they can put in there diaries.

its not been confirmed yet but this is what we are proposing for next year.
were planning on hiring out a race circuit (not sure on location yet) so those that want to take there car on track can do so as a lot of us love trackdays (maybe an airfield type track as they are cheaper to hire.

for those that don't want to use car on track there will be a show n shine competition for the best overall turned out car
camping overnight as will be a 2 day event
marque/beer tent with music/dj bbq
and a few other things going on such as stalls (kind of boot fair) where people can bring and sell parts they don't need plus a few other things weve yet to discuss

we just want to organise something that all of you will look forward to rather than just the odd meet where just a handful turn up, other clubs operate this way and it always seems succesfull
