It says GTIR-B, so is this an RB model? Just curious as it says close ratio gearbox but states top speed of 145mph?

This was one of the comments:

"Owned a Nissan Sunny GTi-R. Ab-so-feckin-lutely bonkers car. Godzilla's little brother. Souped it up to some 380 hp and ran it 125,000 miles in 2 1/2 years. Never failed me. Was rarely overtaken, even on unrestricted Autobahns. Nice touch: revv it up in 4th into the limiter, then quick shift into 5th w/o lifting the right foot. Only issue were the running costs. That thing ate tyres (400 quid one tyre) brake pads and discs (think of two grand for the front axle) and the fuel consumption was, erm... well, let's put it that way on the 'Ring getting almost into single-digit mpg was easy. On the road coasting behind a lorry averaged 30 mpg. Real life more like 20 mpg. Sometimes less.
Still, it's one of my cars that I direly miss...."

Dont think he actually had one, i mean, 2 1/2 years of faultless driving... Suspect Laughing
Seriously though, where was he going for his parts? £400 a tyre etc!

Ive had 3 phase 2 R5's & there awesome cars once you get fueling setup sweet. My last 1 was about 170-180 bhp with a VNT turbo setup, 3rd gear spin ups in the dry, came on boost at 2300 rpm, Little monster it was. Don't half miss it Sad
