Americans dont quite get it... is it me or dous anyone else think its a good idea to TIE STRAP your car to the "casing of the roller motor of a rolling road" & expect it to handle the torque of your car?

Anyone else see where the problem lyes?

That was strapped down properly , looked more like bearing failure on the roller of the dyno to me......and Quebec is in Canada

Id of thought there would be a better point to strap the car down than the roller motor. As the torque of the car would pull at the motor, hence why it was the week point & blew up under to much stress pulling it away from the roller?

Oh and Canadians lol, my bad Laughing

If you don't strap the car to portable rollers the car will never stay on them....basic physics man, the car is strapped where the dyno company puts the points to strap them.....more than likely it was an old set of rollers that have been over sped for years and then they finally gave up the ghost!
