first time i've had this problem

speedo has just stopped randomly
after car is shutdown and restarted, it works again, then dies shortly thereafter

what should i check, the clocks, the speedo sensor, loose wiring?

anyone else experience that problem?

trip meter works, just no speed

I've had this with mine and for me I took the clocks out stripped them down and cleaned them with a bit of wd40 and all has been working fine since, about 4 years ago

alright i guess i should correct the post, the trip meter doesnt work
no external delimiter (nistune delimited)
and it randomly comes on and off, a smack of the dash gets the speedo working again sometimes

but i'll take the clocks out and clean the connectors make sure everything's tight and i'll try wd40 on the arms
ill give it a go in a few days time.

i have also had an intermittant fault with my clocks, was doing about 90 ..... cough cough sorry 70 as it would be an offence to speed, and all of a sudden i notice the needle flapping about around 30, it normally clears itself once i've slowed down a bit.

(sorry for pinching thread gtirnick)
