Hi guys,
I would like to know at what rpm the ref limit is on oem ecu.
I have a stand alone ecu now,
Soft is set at 7500.
Hard is set on 7800.
I would raise these for higher top speed. (Competition car)

oem ecu is reportedly 7500 .

I had a sprint setup that went to 8400 .
Worked good as had good top end power and saved some gear changes for more convenient point .
No top end issues, had tomei cams and custom dual springs, no rocker stopper .
They hold out pretty good when parts fresh, well matched and clearances set low .

8400 , that is crazy.
My cilinderhead has oem valve springs and oem cams.
Valve clearances are perfect.
I would raise soft limit to 7700 and hard to 8000.

that sounds sensible .
For many years I used daughterboards on road car set around that .
I never thrown or broke a rocker in over 20 years of using higher rev limit .
