Evo Injectors Won't fit

I bought Pink top Evo 8 injectors for my Gtir engine because I've read in numerous locations here in this forum and others that they were a direct fit.  I pulled the Gtir fuel rail and injectors off last night and tried to fit the Evo injectors and they WILL NOT fit in the fuel rail.  I measured them and the top inlet is 1mm larger diameter than the Gtir injectors.  What's going on?? Are they a direct fit or not? Do I need to grind them down or bore out the fuel rail a little??

There's 2 different types and you've bought the wrong ones mate.
You want the ones with the green pintel caps.
