NOOB question have mines ecu in my R found this info online

1.1bar, 500 extra rpms, removed speed limiter, and modified fuel and ignition tables


so heres the question is my R running these specs

Yes the limit is raised
But you need to check boost
Do you have uprated fuel pump ?
Ignition system needs to be in good condition and those maps are quite aggressive but run a lot of ignition and I personally would get it checked if it's long term Ecu you plan to run

its the way i got it about 8 years ago havnt checked fuel pump i find at mid rpms the car picks up and goes like a bat out of hell no bogging or anything How can i check boost?

Boost gauge. Standard one won't read above 7 psi tho

Spoilt for choice on boost gauges really it comes down to personal preference as for wide band I have a aem but yet again personal preference really I bought a cheap boost gauge was a waste of money as the needle gets stuck duh

Yeah I have a TIM boost gauge not fancy but does the job

Stack are very good do simple ones that req no power or electronic ones also do wide bands

As above aem or innovate do one
