AFM wiring & DET code

Hi guys.

Got an issue with my car on code 34. Seems to be triggered as soon as I start the car.

Now my afm wiring seems suspicious and I wanted to ask how I can re wirr the small terminals inside it. I have various electrical connects but none which look like the would go into the connector.

See this pic the white wire is nearly severed so it definately needs replacing. Any ideas were i can get the connectors or will i need a new plug.

Would this cause a det code though?

Yes 34 is Det sensor im just wondering if a dodgy afm would cause bad reading causing a det 34 or would have nothing to do with it. Cant see anything wrong with the boost piping or sny reason to throw a 34 other than a faulty sensor.

Faulty sensor sensor to tight or slack doggy plug or connection. Surly if afm was playing up car would run crap or is it ? What's car run like plugged in and out mate ?

As said above. Det sensor will be at fault.
I have a new one here you can use and then replace if you want?
If you are coming over for the exhaust you can take the det sensor at the same time?

I had a perpetual 34 code on my last one...when the garage replaced the knock sensor they fixed the crimp that goes into the sensor and put it in the wrong terminal!

Cheers for the advice guys will get the det sensor off Stu and check the wiring when im looking at it too
