Well i broke the reverse switch getting it out to seal a leak.
I know our switch is 4 pin but a bluebird switch is 2 pin and looks the same from pics. Can i just wire + - in and not worry about the pins for neutral

Can you repair yours with epoxy resin or is it totally junked .
4 pin can be found on bluebird maxima and prairie, prairie best bet for non R pull-a-part in uk I would think.

It broke around the bolt edge putting a hole along the seal. I did try gluing it but not with epoxy but i could do that then silicone it in again but was worried about it leaking again. Would you think a 2pin could work

I never tried a 2 pin so not sure without comparing the 2. wouldn't want remove neutral ecu input unless had to . I would try a better repair and reseal making sure degrease everything before adding sealer and give it cure time .

Would it start engaging the starter motor if i didn't have the neutral switch?

Glued it and siliconed it in and seem's ok at the moment.
