New to the Forum

Happy New Year all!

I'm not an owner yet but hope to be a fully fledged member as soon as I find the right GTI-R.

Absolutely love these cars - always have - and now looking to own one.

I've been really impressed by the level of knowledge and enthusiasm you all seem to have for the GTI-R and look forward to getting into the show scene later this year.

Hi, I live in Essex and I'm ideally after a standard one so I can enjoy it that way and then upgrade as and when etc.

There's only one on eBay at the moment (DCY) but I haven't been up to York to see it yet. But that's the kind of thing I like.

I've seen some adverts for modified ones too - still learning what the best bits/upgrades are etc. I do prefer originality though so will probably have to bide my time.

Prices seem to have rocketed the last few months from what I can see.

I wouldnt pay the prices dcy are asking to be honest ..... have you tried bob at gtirus / torque of the south who is in essex also he has an advert in the cars for sale thread sure he said he has a few cars ready to go ... and he could probably spec one up to what you want ..... truelly unmolested R's are certainly up in prices depends if they have been stripped of goodies and put back to standard for the extra cash so you gotta know what your looking for plus know where to look for rust etc ....

We have 3 possibly 4 cars which you may well be interested in (one possibly 2 are virtually ready for sale) or if you need any more info or advice then just give us a call.
We dont generally advertise cars, your welcome to give each car a thorough independant inspection on one of our lifts if you wish so you know nothing is hidden and you know what your getting

We will also run any car on our 4wd dyno to prove the car is running Aok with regard to fuelling etc and to confirm power its running at
