Well guys been a while since i been on here but thought i would update you with a few things regarding the selectors and why the billet selectors currently available are far from adequate. Which is why we set about getting some made up!

First off heres a photo of a standard 3rd 4th selector mounted on the selector rod........next to it is the upgraded selector currently produced in Australia

Below is a photo of the new one we have (to be tested) which are same dimensions as the stock selector as you can clearly see (billet one to the left, stock right).
Unlike the ones which are currently available these will not put excessive loading on one side of the selector ring which in turn will eventually lead to premature failiure of components surriunding 3 and 4 gears.
Tests will continue.......

Looks good. Have you thought about putting wear pads on them?

hope testing goes to plan, 3/4 well worth doing as keeps you moving/limping even when syncro hub the cause which cheaper and less embarrassing than a flatbed and all the chocolate gearbox digs :-)
Other advantage is less risk of broken fragments running through gearkit meaning easier salvaged rebuild .
