So I'm looking at one of those gizmos at ebay done some research and from what I can understand it can support bigger injectors (up to 50% I'd say) so evo 560cc injectors would go fine with it. But can I stick bigger maf with it to? And how far I can go with it? I'm thinking about high ish 300hp at some point and is there any point in investing in one of those or just go for nistune?

You can add bigger maf too, main downside is no ignition control and not best fuel mapping increments .
Would do job for what you aiming at but without ignition tweaking you loosing easy had power.
If can get dirt cheap maybe worth it. I liked the late version daskek piggyback, had over 400hp on them easily and could get them used for cheap money, support for them lacking these days I expect . Likes of power FC and Nistune come up used so could be sensible price. All depends on current goals & potential future goals with car power and budget, no point blowing big money unless needed .

I'm looking at one at ebay (£90 atm) couldn't find 2nd hand unichip but for this price I'd probably go for nistune. I've found this thing too http://www.ecumaster.co.uk/products/digital-ecu-tuner-3
looks good just never heard of it and from what I understand it supports only batch fire mode for injectors which is bit of a 19th century for me (or I've got something wrong). But it's quite cheap and made in Poland lol!

For some reason I'n not fan of Power FC. Someone once told me that they are bit old now etc and if I'd go for stand alone I'd like something which could work coil on plug system (not sure if FC can do it). At the moment just looking around for some ways to stick some bigger injectors etc on my engine once I'll finally get it build lol so I could run 350-380 hp without spending too much (I'm Polish remember we don't like spend money). And problem with me is that if I'd put nistune in my car or something better I'd want to go for magic 400 lol!

Power fc are a hell of a Ecu and make very big power. Some mappers are lazy and out to make money so suggest newer Ecu

Bob will confirm power that can be had on them
And I have two people who map there own cars and not tuners or mappers of others cars which will back this up one who says his maps are as good and safe as anything availible and don't forget the pulsar is a older car and half the stuff availible is of limited use on our cars unless you start massively changing the set up to run race fuel spray water meth etc.
As always I prob ain't worded it the best but you catch my drift do not rule out the power fc

I know what you you're on about Johny, it's basically right era ecu for the car... But to be honest if/when I go for aftermarket ecu I'd probably go for something new end add some stuff to the cat to make it run bit more modern if it makes sense... I'm not the most clued up about ecus but on pulsar I'd love separated coil packs, intake temp sensor, and few other bits and bobs + I'd love to rip whole engine loom and redo it lol. Looking tad deeper in to this Digital ECU Tuner 3 thingy and it start to look quite good for piggyback. It has ignition and fuel table, can actually support 4 extra injectors in batch fire mode (or I'm reading it wrong again) supports wide band lambda and even has got launch control lol!

Yes I know what you mean just when you said power fc was old it is but still well up for the job, yes thought about ditching dizzy myself as ignition system gets older

As johnny said the pfc is an amazing bit of kit and fairly easy to tune yourself if you have a wideband fitted, imo and other tuners ive spoken to its far better than nistune.

If any help i have a dastek unichip, emu
and greddy emange all piggyback units which will easily take you to 400+ and they are not expensive.

If you want something new then you could always go for an emerald standalone ecu which are fairly cheap too.

digital ecu tuner looks interesting for price .
Need look into & see how easy it fits & works with Nissans sensors & how people rate the mapping functions.
afc neo is easy one if just want cheap & easy fit/tune for your 350<>380 goal but if you get greedy you going need replace it quickly .
Nistune or powerFC both good & worth grabbing one if see used, A lot of people will get same results if not potentially smoother running from maintaining standard ecu with piggyback when power goals allow it . Standard ignition good for over 450hp when in good order. For lower power builds money best invested in quality turbo spec & intercooler & exhaust as you get more returns for the $ spent .
Massive amount of options about but worth getting something with good support in your region & something that will cope with future upgrades . It all quite cheap these days, power FC & Nistune sell well so if buy one used you never going loose money really or break the bank ...

Looking bit deeper in to that det 3 piggyback they've got wiring diagrams for primera with sr20de and 200sx so I think Gtir should run too interested howmaf to map conversion would work on Pulsar... Might drop them an email later on... Oh and somebody is using this on Sunny sr20de+t. To be honest for this sort of money I'm quite tempted to get one just to play with it see how it works etc...
