lovely original car

just bought in a totally stock R last week which even has the original jap history from new, brolly, tow cover, wheels the lot....its been standing in a garage unused since 2005

it fired up straight away soon as i put a battery on it and even the brakes were free as it had been left with the h/brake off.

wont be breaking this baby thats for sure, so unusual to get a genuine one now with full history

Get some picks up. What colour ? should be the starting car to get these back up to a decent price what they should be making

sold a few standard cars bob in the past, they are better than the modified to move on.

yes im gonna clean her right up so its truly mint then stick it up for rather a large amount of money.
im also doing the same with the white uk sunny i have so will have 2 very very nice cars up for sale.
not gonna be in any rush to sell either of them (they probably wont go up for sale till next year) as were very busy at the moment.

yes hopefully others will follow suit when they want to sell there cars as they are definately getting fewer and far between now on places like ebay and pistonheads and lack of them will force prices to rise.

no pics lads sorry, not till shes all finished (only pics i will have is the car as is in its original condition for prospective buyer so they can see its no lashed up pile of rust lol), i may even give it a blowover as the paints faded quite a bit in places.

havent looked to see when first registered but on an h plate, and the only mod to it is the ss exhaust
it has standard airbox, wheels, brolly, recirc valve, ac, everythings completely original

i may do a project thing on it (in our projects section) and the white uk sunny with pics as we sort the pair of them out

I may be interested in one of them when they are done Bob
Should be on the look out for something myself come may/June next year

trust me stu you wont be when you see the price i stick them up for
im gonna try and raise the price with these 2 cars to see how much someone will actually pay for them, even if it means leaving them up for sale for months lol

Sounds like u got yourself 2 good pair of nice r,s there bob,a nice detail correcting the paint wouldn't go a miss once there ready for sale,,the black r,s paint really does come out shiny once detailed properly as iv done them with all my r,s in the past,even with the paint faded slightly you'll be amazed what a buffer can do and using the right products.

gone too far for detailing im afraid as rear panels already been rubbed down but is rust free, so will be painting both cars so they look mint when finished

il move this thread to (our projects) soon and put some pics up of black car as it stands at the moment.
weve just fitted an uprated clutch in it as the old one had seized solid, also changed the clutch master as that was goosed also
so now she drives and very nicely too

this is how it came in after sitting in garage for over 7 years
just fitted the clutch and now shes all up and running, drives and boosts lovely

il add more to the thread when we go about sorting and flatting the paintwork down ready for a blowover

still got this little baby, one day it will be painted lol

That's about the same spec as mine bob so I will be very interested to see what someone is prepared to pay for a bog standard car. I knew I was doing the right thing and sticking to as standard as possible, I don't think mine need anything now apart from standard blow off valve and I saw one of those at bill the spoons house so I will have to tap him up for it. Only thing I'm planning for mine over the winter it to strip sand blast the strut legs and renew all the shocks and springs, then take the rear subframe off and clean all that up. Make it mint and standard is the way

Yep your right there Darren these are the ones that will be worth money.

It's already got everything standard fitted rob and all in a1 condition.
I may well flog this car on as I'm very very short of time lately with the new business and all
But it won't be a cheapy even as it is
It's rust free and straight as a dye just needs painting and a new fuel pipe as it's leaking from tank somewhere
These rust free cars are very difficult to get hold of now especially untouched without lumps welded in them
