I wouldn't have thought so.my minis all had fixed buckets and they passed. Only thing they didn't like were racing harnesses as they said you had to be able to put seatbelt on one handed. So I used to have both fitted. Best ask someone who mots though

It's not a requirement for the tester to drive your car

Couple of testers on here do they will know if they see this. Don't forget with our cars they do drive them for Brake test unless they have 4 wheel rollers

So you shouldn't put them on the brake rollers unless it's a 4 wheel tester??? Mine did it on a two wheel tester.....

Defo should know better than put it on a 2 wheel tester .... they should do it with either a 4 wheel or a decelorameter
Have you got the rear seats stripped out ? .... my thinking is how will they check rear seat belts ???

One of my mates had it all stripped out but the tester insisted on having rear seatbelt in it as it was registered as a 5 seater ...

I always make a point of telling my mot tester to take it on the road braking test. Even tho he knows me and the car.
When I first started taking my pulsars to him I would drive the car and he would sit in the passenger seat with his dumbell looking gauge..
He has an assistant these days lol
