Any bikers on here fancy doing a trackday this Monday coming at Cadwell park?

First time out on a bike on track in ten years so should be fun

just bought this after flogging the kwaka zx9r to mad Rich on here

yep 750 fuel injected with remap, only done 19,000 genuine miles from new
damned quick bike too, might stick it on rollers to see what power shes at as its got a fair few nice bits on it

What a buzz this was.......After doing a bike day again I gotta say that cars are boring in comparison, a real adrenalin rush when you really don't know if your going home in a body bag, wheelchair or walking out with the biggest grin on your face possible lol

Nigh on crippled myself (being an old fooker) but me and the bike (minus the exhaust end can) are still in one piece which is a result

10 years since ive ridden a bike on track when I used to instruct for focused events and without blowing my own trumpet was a fairly quick rider
For example I could do Cadwell park in 1.42 but yesterday after the long lay off I did an amazingly shit lap time of 2.23 but do have a fair excuse for the poor show lol

Ive also succeeded in getting myself banned from any further 'No Limits' trackdays but hey ho.
Worst thing is though is that ive majorly pissed off 2 marshals who are employed at Cadwell park and worse still the main man who runs the track recognised me from the car trackday's in the Pulsar and GTR, so lets just say im not in his good books either which could be a problem as ive a car trackday there in less than 2 weeks  

I got a vid of the day too 'on bike footage' il try get my lad to upload later, think I got black flagged in this session too, cant remember as not seen the vid myself yet.

I cant bring myself to get a clio... I know the cars are fun but it dont mean it aint french!! Cant wait for brands dec.. bike license to follow

get your licence over the winter Rich and we will do a few trackdays on the bikes next year.
I need to get a bit.......lot fitter though as it nigh on killed me, was aching everywhere a couple days later, my arms, wrists, knees and back pppaaiin!
Driving a car on track is mentally tiring but bikes need 100% concentration and you need to be agile too so you can move round and hang off the bike, not so easy when your an old fooker like me lol

I seen you loved it though... I am on the license buzz.. and defo will be on a track next year with a bike. I will be shitting bricks at that point. Bit different from the road.
