With the shows and meets at a end for the year I would just like to say a huge thanks to everyone that attended it really has been a great year!!! The club has a real buzz about it and you all are a top bunch of guys & gals. Without each & everyone of you this would not have been possible so a massive well done to you all thumbsup

I know I've not been around on the forum long but I certainly have met a lot of great people who I now class you all as good friends so thanks everyone for making me so welcome. Also you all giving me help and support with meets. The social side has been so much fun I highly recommend doing the stay overs on the night before events as its great company lots of laughs & banter..

A extra special thanks should go out to Bob for always being there to help owners as he is a true diamond.

Chris Quinn for taking part at every event from driving the wheels off his gtir at the donnington day giving passenger rides
( I know how I felt after 2 30min sessions) also running a 11.6 today at pod impressive work!!

Russ for helping with the job of organising the 25th meet

Stu for his time spent getting the word out far n wide.

I could go on to mention you all so a HUGE THANKS again

I think Gostek/Mike & hreg gtir/Danny are also willing to help with events next year, as I'm thinking about going away traveling for 6 months next year. So could we make them event organisers to ?

Sorry for the long post but I felt it necessary.

Peace & GTIR love to you all

Very Happy

been a great year, got to go to some top meets/trips with a great bunch of lads and lasses, always happy to help out, will definitely volunteer for Germany trip again, hotel not a problem as this years one I found was so nice, plus having spoken to them already, will go directly through them so hopefully get it a bit cheaper. it will just be numbers and the train to organise. some good things potentially happening for next year to look forward to.

Cheers Si, I enjoy it pal so it's all good and not a problem for me!

You must have enjoyed the year with a post that long!! But without all the organisation work you put in,  there would be no good club stands at shows to go to, even just booking a hotel room can be a pain in the arse, let alone everything you put in! So well done matey!!

Everybody has been good, easy to get along with and helpful, so it's thumbs up all round I guess!! Wink

Yes would like to say a big public thanks to Si also for all his hard work since he joined the forum around a year ago, you have certainly made a big impact with the work you've put in organising our events cheers

When I first found him some years back, he was nothing more than a small town shy guy wandering the streets of Liecester with a six string on his back and Making his living as a male escort his only possession being a tatty Gtir which doubled up as his home and base to recite his music, but how life has changed him Laughing
He now owns and runs his own business farming whelks from far away seas & also has created a charity for underprivileged and abused sea aneminies, he is also a leading player in national event organisation so fair play to you Si you have come a long way from the dark days  congrats

Unfortunately though I can not see you go back to those dark days of drugs and prostitution and would like to remind you that you are bound by contract with the club as an event organiser for the next decade or until we see fit that an agreement can be drawn up for your departure.

So with that in mind we now wish to see an events calendar and itinerary for 2016........"if you could kindly place that on my desk for my attention Monday morning please that will suffice Very Happy

Many Thanks

Management
