Whats peoples views on fuel filters? I always buy genuine Nissan at £28... But seen as you can get a copy from motor factors for £10 it seems abit silly buying genuine Nissan...

Would you stick with a OE fuel filter or are motor factor ones ok to use?

Im thinking of doing away with the original bulkhead filter and running a large clear inline replacement so you can see clearly any debris picked up.
will be handy to see what's going through the system especially with old fuel lines that could be breaking apart internally, so a good indicator if you need to change fuel lines from tank before the inevitable happens and you spring a major leak and possible fire through having perished fuel lines.

The in tank pump filter should stop the crap from the tank being pulled through so if you see debris in the bulkhead filter then odds are its been picked up from the main pumped fuel line.
