3/16 pipe.
M10 1mm pitch fittings, best getting matched ones short length & matching short unthreaded nose as longer unthreaded nose ones result in not a lot of caught thread & not really a sound job.
fittings & pipe easily available & decent motor-factors should have these & also eBay if needed.

As above, what you are looking for is "no lead" short fittings, they are threaded all the way.
Demon tweeks was the only place I could find brass ones.

Brilliant cheers guys after more thought I might reuse the ends and run anew brake pipe frontto back that wy theres no joins and I know the ends will be fine too
