Well after a full weekend of swapping my box witj johnny,david & spike ive had the car mot'd, insured & taxed

Took the car for a good 60 mile drive yesterday with no issues after it being sat for 8 months... Only thing ive noticed is when I change gear & let the clutch back out there a little squeeling noise coming from clutch as it obviously makes contact with the flywheel... Souds like a slipping belt, but belts are fine & deffo coming from box! Like I say ony as I let clutch out after changing gear? Maybe its clutch just bedding back in with it being sat for a while? Any other ideas?

Sounds possibly clutch release bearing? Is it making the noise when you press down on the clutch peddle? It never the less great news :-)

No its as I let the clutch pedal up after changing gear... Its fine when setting off in first, dousnt do it... Relese bearing is new Nissan part

Glad it's all back up n running gaz, it's been a while now.

Could be a sticky spring in pressure plate if it yelps as you lift your foot off the clutch, it won't cause any harm unless it's dragging the driveplate which could damage springs if so, so would just turn the radio up a bit as its in there now so nowt you can do

And my clutch has just gone ffs... Just my fooking luck... Looks like the 25th is out the window!!!

Waiting on recovery now

Will be the springs then in plate must have been dragging on and not releasing evenly, you'll need to ditch that pressure plate gaz

If I had the time and space I would say get the car recovered to us and would have done it for you but just not got the space to put the car as already got 10 cars in the workshop plus I'm struggling to get those ready for the meet that we have in at the mo.
