Very Happy Yea I've just been enjoying driving it around for the first time but the tax runs out end of the month so im going to try and do it all then and ill put the bumper strips back black at the same time and tidy up the engine bay a bit too. Also think ive got a cv joint on the way out got a bit of a click developing on the front wheel when i turn left

I'll have a look into that thanks Tom. I havnt really played with any other cars yet because I havnt had it checked out on the rolling road. However most of my car friends are still into VW's and they love to take the piss out of the pulsar and kept reminding how a certain G40 was gonna murder me when my car was fixed. OBVIOUSLY IT WASNT EVEN CLOSE Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

cheers leighton
yep there perfect, i just had a set delivered today actually for build were doing at the mo.
we use cp all the time and they are best vfm pistons on the market, never had a prob with them

be carefull on putting in an offer on them though because although he will accept it the shipping costs will then need to be added for which you end up paying more so your best off just paying the 621$ Wink

Havnt been on here for a while. Managed to free up some time last weekend and got the head off, a little fidly with the inlet manifold but pretty straight forward. Luckily the bore is completely damaged Smile not sure weather to put a std piston in that I've already got and run it at 0.7 bar or go the full hog

you do mean un-damaged i presume!

if you got head off and sump you just as well drop a std size set of cp forgies in there and use new arp rod bolts with a set of acl race bearings.
will be worth it in the longrun i can assure you alex

Starting to get fed up of constantly throwing money at it but if I do forge it that should be the end of my engine problems. I'd imagine it'll start blowing gearboxes instead then....
