I know there is a million topics about removing the gearbox, but I didn't find the clear answer.

Providing you have access to all professional tools & hydraulic lifts. Isn't it easier to remove transfer & gearbox as a complete set? I have checked today and it looks as there is enough space to do it... Or is there some "magic" bolt somewhere that makes it impossoble?

Thanks

The simple answer is yes.

I personally prefer to take the transfer box off seperately

Yeah you can. Me and my brother have done it many times this way. It's heavy tho.

I've taken and assembled the gearbox/transfer both ways. Like stu said its damn heavy. I reckon it's easier separately but that's just my opinion.
