Managed to pull case apart while taking gearbox off, can't seem to push case back onto bearing and don't want to damage anything, how do I put it back on ? Thanks

I had the same problem doing mine, took a bit of jiggling around for about 30mins whilst trying to reseat the bearing from the diff casing end seemed to do the trick or I was just lucky!!

Check my thread out it has a picture of the diff end with the bearing/gearing showing I just put a drift in the end and wiggled it about whilst my mate was pushing from the other side?

I did try to push it back on but ended up taking transfer out and removing cover completely so I could clean and seal it, I'll have to have another attempt , thanks

Also try rotating the crank pulley at the same time as I did that to refit the diff shaft and also the gearbox and it seemed to make reassembly easier?

Thanks, I'm going to try and get it on after work by using a rubber mallet and tapping around the case.
