always loved the primera egt and wanted to turbo or supercharge one
anyone know/advice on what kind of work is involved??? also price (the killer)

All are 2.0 Sr20de engines.
Depends on the earlier ones High port SR20DE, or later one low port SR20de.
Standard 148ish bhp.

Turbo by drilling hole in bottom end section, use Gti-r turbo parts.
Quite a simple job really.
You can buy the cars for anything upto £1000 if you can find a decent one.
I can draft you up a proper list if you like.

The guys on the Almera club do this all the time on their almeras.

Not much info on the supercharge route as there is no off the shelf unit for the sr20, so you will need to go custom.

Does that mean that can be used a replacement engine in the GTIR or am i wrong...I know it would need the turbo but if i have all the turbo parts surely it should be plug and play pretty much

No, totally different compression..I.e pistons, rods, head, crank.

that's the fact that the rear of engine is not recessed to take a 4wd transferbox

I have seen a gtir running 4 wheel drive gearing but using an Sr20de n/a engine.
That's why I was so interested to see the Rasheen.
It's a 1.8 sr18de with 4 wheel drive transfer box.
How, please look into what it's is that connects the n/a with gtir style gearbox.

Is there a way round bob? Or just turbo gt engine?

They did make a 4wd primer a but they are imports and rare as just like the 4wd Almera! There's loads of guides on the conversion on NPOC and Almera owners club! Some run the GTIR lump!

But I don't think the Primera used the Gtir running gear and rear subframe like the Rasheen, correct me if I am wrong.
We are talking about interchangeable parts with the Gtir.

The White one I have is now re-assembled and back otr so driving that around na at the mo 
I'm converting the red one now which has the 1.5 4wd lump This will be the fire breathing monster that I want to get done by the summer if at all possible

The White one which is a sr1.8de which has the autobox will be getting a stock t28 bolted on and run around 300bhp (easy conversion) I'm using this as a tow vehicle for trackdays so will be pulling a bike trailer. If the autobox copes well at that power with a cooler fitted then il up the power on that one aswell to see what the autobox can handle.
To my knowledge no one has done this before with the 4wd auto combination.

I've also got a very clean sunny 2.0 GTI which il be doing something to that will make it a bit special but first I need to get one of these rashiteens finished lol

So just to clarify, is it not worth it has too much work and costly?
