Hopefully get the car back in the next couple of days, still hasn't been tuned yet. There was a few minor things that had to be fixed. Most unusual thing was the wastegate was apparently stuck open. Bit odd considering it's brand new. Hopefully have another update in a couple of days

Yeah that's the only thing atm, I'll be holding breathe once it's dyno though haha. Yup that's me mate

Left the fire ring off the wastegate! I will swear it was my mate who installed it hahaha   get that fixed tomoz!

Finally get my car back from tuners tomorrow, only a run in but there was no major issues which I'm so excited about! After a brand new build i was expecting a lot more problems. Did have some boost problems so I'll need to look at the controller.

After two and half months my car is finally home



First job was to swap over to the while dial cluster I got from bob. Needed to swap over the circuit board, easy job. I was going to replace the white dials with my black ones but thought I'd probably never get it back together and working correctly

Just a run in tune so I can get drive it around at this stage. The tuner started to do pull some power runs but with the boost controller playing up I decided to leave it how it was.

I'll upgrade the ecu aswell before going back to pull to some numbers on the dyno.

Got some cleaning to do, a cv boot let go so everything is covered in grease haha

Put the new cage in this morning, pretty happy with it but there is abit of rust in the floor where it bolts, so need to fix that before it's bolted in properly.

Went on abit of a shopping spree so will have a few things to do over the next couple of weeks.

- install twin pump underbody surge tank (not sure if I'll run steel or braided lines under the car?)
- relocate washer bottle to the boot (brought an aluminium one)
- brought a sealed battery box for the boot

Doesnt look to promising nothing a few plates wouldnt sort out ... .... gives  you a chance for some welding practice

Should be picking up a welder around Christmas so let the fun begin

Thanks Leighton its a aeroflow tank. There were very few tanks in that shape I could find. It uses ORB fittings which I'm not a huge fan of because they sometimes leak around the o-ring. See how it goes though

That's a weird place for rust in the flank behind side rear window, don't think I've seen one rust there before

Yeah it seems an usual spot bob, no idea how it's started there. It's a rather large bubble aswell.

Had to pull my cooler off this morning so thought I'd post a pic. Can't remember who I was talking to about how I did the pipe work. Bend isnt fantastic but best I could get without a seriously tight angles.

Well finally finished replacing the floor where all the rust was so now it's time to get the cage bolted in. Progress is fun

Mounted the surge tank and made up the lines, might change a few of the fittings to make things neater. I used aluminium hard lines under the car but not 100% happy with them so might look at other solutions.



Also started sanding back the side skirts for priming. They have been a few colours before

Surge tank looks spot on mate. Any pics of the fuel tank lid? Are you running an fittings up to the tank & rail?
