No ABS or ABS

If you plan on running big power with according to your other thread  your going to need bigger brakes so if you dont have so already so no it should matter ..as its just to stop it locking up under heavy braking ..

I just don't know how that looks in Romania but in UK when you removing abs you have to get rid of everything... pump wiring sensors etc or it'll fail mot... you have to make it look like there was no abs...

I just dumped my abs system, some difference it makes regarding space in the engine bay

i have no abs on my sunny, so no troubles about ABS ecu, abs pump, senders...and so one.

no electric shit = less problems!!  

Theres is  no specs given with  import cars as regards to mot  time so how do they know what it has and hasnt had ..... if it s queried tell them it was an optional extra but you was to tight to pay for it lol ....

Had ABS for 7 days on mine, it all went in the bin after I couldn't stop in the wet. Likely broke or those 8 pots were just too powerful, but if you have gritty crappy slippy b roads then get rid. Nearly put myself through the windscreen the first time without it (belt on!)

Like others have said, if you remove it you should remove it all and make sure bulbs out of the dash too if you have roll cage etc... then cars usually are tested as race car thus enabling them to give no fucks about ABS being removed.

yeah if you leave the pump and everything in situ it does have a slight restriction on braking with fuse dis-connected
so best off ditching the lot and fitting single brake proportioning valve in place of the twin
but they are hard to get hold of now think ive only got one left

I have 315 mm ap racing discs with 4 pot brembos in front.....and will get some 2 pot rear calipers.....
I allready have the non abs valve ss I have used the car with no abs.
Bob do you have some rear brake upgrades????

don't waste your money running 4 pot rears bogdan
just stick to the stock calipers but run carbotech rear pads that's all you need
or try run a slightly larger disc that's enough to give you plenty of rear stopping power

Standard wheel/brake set up?
Could just be that you've maintained yours and it works as it should.

I'm the same in the fiesta, escort, golf and... Vitara though, abs too pro-active for my driving style or my foot is weighted with 1 ton of lead. I don't go through discs/brake pads like there's no tomorrow though, get just over the average millage

For road use I'd have ABS every time..
Accidents happen real quick and you don't think, you just hit the brakes and if you skid you become part of the accident.. ABS gives you a chance to avoid it..
May be different for track as you're thinking ahead and should be ready for the skid when it happens..

I ment on a R I totally took everything off. it was not my car maybe just because my brake set up is better. pm me a price on the single valve bob as I want to renew lines sometime soon anyway

Il need to check to see if I have more than one Johnny as I need one for the rashiteen as doing away with abs on that

Sounds like you need some ocd organising bob .... i did my house on sunday started at 9am finished at 10:45 pm bleached walls cielings if it moves it gets bleached lol ..

Yeah everything needs sorting as I can't find fook all since I got rid of lazy twat George   
He's not put one thing in the correct place so stuffs scattered all over the place in different boxes and racks
Really it all needs totally reorganising which ain't gonna be a five minute job
