Just another good question:

What makes the speed gauge with speed signal?
I meen, the road speed sensor wires go to the speed gauge first, then connected to the ECU.
I'd like to change my gauges to digital dash, but my ECU still have to use the road speed signal.
The signal what's come from the sensor is a square format, or just an analog sign?

Pulse: square wave.
most aftermarket  digital dash should have adjustments to work with common standard sensors ... sometimes you may need a separate converter to handle the signal first or perhaps another speed sensor used.
