I brought the red stuff pads all round with grooved and dimpled discs also all round .... i wish i choose the yellow stuff though as its a much better pad over the red ...dont buy drilled as prone to cracking ...

Can't you fit evo 4 brakes onto a pulsar?
If so I've got a set of grooved discs you can have
And if you ask nicely i also have a spare set of callipers

I have the evo set up here rob but I need to build a bracket for them to fit on...

I was going to fit them last year but I know what am like if I put them on I will start to mod the car an it will end up like my last one before you know it. The car is running 288bhp at 0.9 bar an am happy with the way it runs altho I have had a look at it an thought I might stick my cage in it an stick some coil overs on it  Embarassed

Making a bracket is cheaper than buying new discs and pads. .. And then you can see if you can make nice blue discs like the ones i now have on my evo..

But they don't fit under standard wheels so I would then have to buy new wheels Sad I see your point as I have everything here to do it.....

I will eventually go down the route of grooved discs on the front with some carbotech pads, got black diamond grooved discs on the back with predator pads and noticed some improvement.

The brakes I had last year were terrible when they got hot. This year I had yellow stuff pads in standard calipers, not sure what the discs are, but they worked well even when they got hot. I've still got the ABS working on mine and that was kicking in on most of the heavy braking so I'm not going to get much better stopping what ever brakes I put on it. And I'm not turning off the ABS... Smile
So I think just changing the pads will make a big difference..

I may have a clutch Dave if you've not got one as yours is royally fooked
Try the blue stuff pads as there meant to be very good but if you have the money then buy the carob tech as there expensive initially but last much longer and don't kill discs either and the way you drive I would invest in some if I were you as they really are worth the extra

I've never had a problem with red or yellow pads in the past it's your calipers that are shit that's all.

I've used most of the ebc pads and thought they were all shite really same as there discs
Best I had as standard came on the first gtir(or second) they were fitted by mines in japan and there was a spare set in the car too not that this helps in anyway as I've no idea what make they were
