New Dyno in Essex. '

As some of you are already aware I was talking about setting up a new business with a rolling road in Essex as there is a gaping hole here at the moment for a good Dyno in the boy racer capital of England lol

Anyway I can now clarify that this will go ahead as we've raised the funds to purchase a brand new latest tech Dyno developments rolling road complete with all the latest software and facility to do a virtual 1/4 mile run with big screen, traffic lights the lot which will be a bit of fun as each car will get a time slip the same as if you ran at the pod ect.

The new company will be called 'Torque Of The South' and will be a general Motorsport company specialising in tuning not just gtir'as but all high performance Nissan cars and maybe other makes too yet to be discussed.

The unit will hopefully be adjacent to gtir us and be over double the size of our current unit
Me  and dangerous Dave on here will be 50 /50 partners in the new venture and we've been in discussion sorting things for a few months now but now the bank have agreed funding it's all systems go.
Still much for us to do but we will be up and running in the autumn all being well.

We are currently trying to line up two of the top mappers in the uk as resident mappers, plus we will also be taking on all gtir repair work, clutches, engine builds, gearbox builds ect, as over the last few months I've not had time to do all this on my own but this will all change once were up and running.

This has been mine and Dave's ambition for a long time now and it's fantastic news for the both of us that our hard work has paid dividends and we now finally have the opportunity to get this off the ground so exciting times and lots of hard work lay ahead

Won't be me or Dave bill not for a long while yet as the pair of us are both pretty dim   
So we will get the right people in to do the job, if they don't come of their own free will ve have vays to make zem vork

Just stubled acros the new forum of yours Bob i see alot has changed in the GTI-R world over the last couple of years. Glad to see your still at it. I still yearn for another R but i just justify the money it would cost me to own another one at the present time, i also couldnt get all my kids in it in one go. 6 of little buggers now. so i bought a Vauxhall Zafira GSI the only way i could get the kids around and go reasonably quick when i want. Maybe you should look in to the remapping of the vauxhalls as there is plenty of them around still.

I think it would be a good idea to look into doing other cars aswell bob. Obviously specialise in nissans but see if you can cater to other cars too, there is a big market for the likes of fords, Vauxhalls and VAG cars

Yeah it's really good news for us both.

This is something that has been in the pipe line for too long so am over the moon that this is going ahead it's not going to be easy but between bob an myself we will get to the top of the game.

There's still a lot to sort out so it's all systems go am just so grateful that the bank has decided to back us.

I posted last night god knows where that went but good luck to you both. As with anything new it will take a long while to get it all sorted and running smooth paperwork is a killer. Will be worth it in the long run. been a long time fella and yeah weve come a long way since I last see you must be 5 years ago now!
seems you've been a busy lad too lol
welcome to the club, and yeah we will be looking into doing all makes but specialising in jap stuff really and fiat 500 abaths
a lots changed in the tuning world of late and it will take us a good while to be competent at what we are doing but until then we will get the right people in to do the job.
stick around on the forum kev don't matter what car you've got its like bloody facebook on here    (not that I do facebook of course)
