I know this isn't R related but I'm asking for a mate. His work car is a little fiesta van, a new one but it has a 65 mph limiter on it and asked me how to remove it? I have no idea as I think it will be set in the ecu but said I would ask you lot.. Shocked

Dont know but if his company has limited it make sure its not tracked as now alot show position speed harsh braking engine running etc so if he removes it and it shows him doin 65 plus mph

I read alot of them are limited via the ecu  so he would have to plug it in to get rid of it ...

I know the army used to do it to our civi vans we used to get up to speed and pull the hazard light fuse out and limiter off
