Wanted, illuminated ignition ring

As above guys, does anyone have one please?.

cant remember if i bought a Z32 plate and it didnt fit.. anyhoos the Maxima fits with some twiddling

as mentioned above - the ring was a (fairly common) option, but afaik the wiring for it is not part of the standard loom,
some have suggested it was a dealer option rather than a factory option (and as such, there are various examples of 'factory' installation)

the j30 maxima and z32 300zx have the same (or similar) illuminated ignition ring which fits ours,
just remember to also get the black plastic surround for it (as it's a different size to the non-ring version)
and the connector and length of wiring saves you making something up yourself...

to fit:

shows that the connector with the wires needed is the white B4/M10,
which lives next to the SMJ (in the area under the dash behind the consult connector):

a constant power is fed from the fuse block (red with black stripe), and a switched ground comes from the 2 door switches (red with green stripe)

i just pushed the slim spade terminal ends on the wires (from the maxima) into the back of the B4 connector next to the existing wires,
the light then comes on when the doors open, and off when they close...

to get the optional "fade out" effect i'm guessing you'd add sopmething like this:

Z32 is the one with button hole, but the one in pic is the J30 / MAXIMA
