if anyones at a loose end this weekend il be at cadwell park in either the gtr or gtir
3 days before im off to the nurburgring

if anyone wants to book it il post up the info

You heard anything of Dave about nurburg bob? Not seen him online for a good while

no I need to phone him aswell so il give him a bell as others need times were leaving etc etc

and pulsar rich is doing it aswell, both cars booked!

I hear your not coming down now johnny so pauls gonna post the bumper and ive got your discs as he dropped them off to me yesterday so il bring them to the rolling road day instead.

il try get some vids of this day as cars running well now (touches wood) and is pretty damned quick upto its 125mph limit, so should be really quick, only thing I know I wont keep with is the gtr that's coming, he will annialate me so il get a vid of him overtaking my little pulsar lol

what a day cadwell was and not in a good way  
 
whole day was plagued with one disaster after another with the car, after having it recently mapped thought all was gonna be good but nooooooo!
had bcr8es plugs in there and all 4 had completely burnt away the electrodes so was obviously under fuelling,
whether the engines been damaged or not remains to be seen. but not looking good!
 
alternator packed up and battery went flat whilst out on cicuit,
cracked a rear brake disc so had to disable that brake,
window motor decided to pack up despite working fine before the day so was roasting inside the car,
wideband gauge packed up,
then to top the day off I had to winch the car back onto my truck to go home then the bloody winch packed up also on my new truck, then on the way back the wheel bearing  on truck has started making a right racket so need to sort that aswell, don't think ive ever had so many things go wrong in one day lol
 
I was severely hit with the shitstick that day so hopefully that's all the bad luck out the way for the ring trip this week.
 
on a plus note rich's pulsar which we recently done a lot of work on was spot on and he had a brilliant day, think he felt guilty that I was having so many probs
 
oh and then the other guy I knew with the gtr35 who came beat my fastest ever lap time by half a second   
I did that in my westfield megabusa 2 years back and have never got close to it in the pulsar so that just summed up the day really

Its not just me then that's having a stroke of bad klook  

Atleast it wasn't the GTR that had issues mate, a lot more to go wrong on that animal

Oh got a servo btw, picking it up in the morning & then got to attempt fitting it   Not looking forward to that

no ive had 2 really shite weeks
but trying to not let it get on top of me mate
 
got to do the pads on the gtr, oil & filter change, fit some wiper blades and general checkover but cant do none of it till Wednesday as have mega busy day tomorrow as someones coming to get my 7.5 ton truck from Scotland and bills collecting the red gtir aswell plus got 3 people coming down picking parts up and that's without the jobs I have booked in which ive now got to do aswell.
 
absolutely knackered at the moment just ot enough hours in the day

Yep cars are worse than woman at times lol, & got it off a different person as I couldn't get threw to the other lad so that's that sorted

You should of given me a call bob I would of come down and given you a hand seen as my work are still been tools

dheers dave but a lot of it is just sheer bad luck

even clares car broke down the other day and she phoned me up stuck at the side of the road, couldn't even get out to her as had so much to do so told her to call the AA

cars not fixed and don't even know whats wrong with it as had no time to look at it yet lol
my cars still sitting on the back of my low loader and wont have time to get that off or look at it until I get back from the ring

think il do the lottery this week lol

Sounds like you had your fair shar of bad luck over the weekend then bob, can't believe you had so much go wrong in one day!
Like you say hopefully that's all the bad luck out of the way ready for your trip to nurburg ring.

I will give you a text tomorrow when I'm about half hour away from you so you know when to expect me.
